St. Joseph Solar Farm
White Construction completed the construction of a 20 MWAC solar facility in St. Joseph County, Indiana. The St. Joseph Solar Farm is Indiana Michigan Power’s (I&M) largest solar generating facility, and was constructed in collaboration with the University of Notre Dame. White Construction self-performed the entire project including design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the facility. In addition, White constructed all of the access roads, fencing, foundations, electrical collection and trackers. Built on 210 acres of land, this new facility includes approximately 57,720 First Solar panels, which provide enough energy to power 2,700 homes annually. Learn more.

Whispering Willow North
The Whispering Willow North wind project is located in Franklin County, Iowa. This wind farm is an expansion of the existing Whispering Willow East wind farm. The project produces 200 megawatts generated by 81 General Electric 2.3 MW and 2.5 MW turbines. The Whispering Willow North wind farm project provided jobs to more than 150 local union members. Area businesses also saw a substantial increase in revenue from our workforce. The energy generated from Whispering Willow North is enough to power around 93,000 homes annually.

Radford's Run
The Twin Forks Wind project spans 24,000 acres in Macon County, Illinois, just north of Warrensburg and Maroa. The project consists of 139 Vestas V110 2.2-megawatt turbines and to date is the largest wind energy facility in the state of Illinois. In addition to the civil construction and turbine erection, the project also required more than 56 miles of public road improvements. White Construction successfully completed the project on time, achieving mechanical completion in just three months.

Monon Boulevard & Midtown Plaza
Monon Boulevard, an expansion project led by White Construction, is one of the boldest construction projects that Carmel, Indiana has ever seen. Used for both commerce and living space, the development utilized sustainable and LID improvements that have generated economic development throughout the city. With the highest quality of material and innovative solutions to tackle technical underground issues, White Construction was able to stay on budget, have zero recordable safety incidents and keep the Monon Trail open during construction with proper protocol. This 81,769-hour project demonstrates how a well-designed and amenity-rich space can enhance and expand urban life.

I-69 Green County
White Construction was selected by the Indiana Department of Transportation to design and construct three miles of Interstate to expand I-69. Located in Green County, Indiana, the project was a greenfield site that included 250 acres of tree clearing, mass excavation of 23-million cubic yards of dirt and rock, installation of 2.6 miles of pavement and the construction of four bridges.

I-69 Daviess County
White Construction was selected by the Indiana Department of Transportation to design and construct six miles of new interstate to expand I-69. The project was a greenfield site and included two million cubic yards of earthwork, 12 bridges of varying lengths as well as both piling and drilling shaft foundation designs. The project required special precautions due to local animal species.
