Safety Powers Success

SAFETY POWERS SUCCESS

At White Construction safety is non-negotiable. Safety is one of our core values and we believe strict adherence to safety practices is essential to protect the very foundation of our company – our employees. It is our goal that, at the end of each workday, everyone goes home safely to their loved ones. White Construction is committed to the belief that every accident, and therefore every injury, is preventable. We embed that philosophy into every project through a combination of technical field procedures and ongoing training programs.

An accident-free work environment is also more profitable for the customer, and therefore a win-win situation for everyone to take the time to participate in and invest in safer work practices. At White Construction all employees and subcontractors are required to adhere to the provisions set forth in our health and safety program, which complies with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).

Every person on the worksite shares equally the responsibility to maintain a safe working environment. Foremen and superintendents are directly accountable to management for the crew’s safety. Employees are encouraged to not only report all unsafe acts and conditions but to actively participate in creating safe solutions through our Behavior Based Safety program.

At White Construction safety is not something practiced while at work, but a way to live your life. Our consistent and comprehensive approach to safety has helped us maintain one of the best safety records in our industry.
