The Grand Ridge Solar Farm is located approximately 80 miles southwest of Chicago near the town of Streator, Illinois.  Solar is fairly new to the Midwestern United States, therefore the Grand Ridge project was the first solar project union assignment.  To ensure safety and quality installation, White Construction held extensive training for the union labor on site.
